  A channel is identified by its id, not its name.

  Renaming a channel used to split it into two on the phone: messages already delivered carried the old name while the channel list reported the new one. Messages now carry the channel id, so a rename moves the channel instead of duplicating it.

  Needs the Android app of the same version or later to take effect. Older apps keep working and keep matching on the name.
